I am not photogenic & don't like the way I look in pictures. Will I love my photos?

I don't believe there is anyone who is not photogenic. We have had lots of clients in the past with this fear and their minds were completely changed when they saw the results. It's your photographer's job to make you look good in pictures using a combination of professional skills - outfit styling, flattering angles, the right camera lens, colours, etc. Remember, we have a styling consultation ahead of your shoot and our makeup artist would have glammed you up as much or as little as you want to enhance your best features - you'd be super confident and feel on top of the world even before I take the first shot. You are beautiful and I promise to photograph you in the most flattering way while capturing your authenticity. I guide you every step of the way so you have absolutely nothing to worry about. That's what you are paying me for.

Can I have other types of photos done at this session that are not headshots?

Absolutely! You'd have your hair and makeup done anyway so it's a perfect opportunity to get those photos you've been wanting for a while now - boudoir, glamour... it's perfectly fine. All we ask is that you inform us ahead of the shoot during the consult so we can make adequate preparations.
What is included in my headshot session?

1. A guided portrait session with multiple outfits 2. Professional makeup (for women) 3. Wardrobe styling consult 4. Digital images in 4 different formats easy to use so you can begin to show them off and attract your ideal clients.
Do you have sessions on Saturdays? I work during the week.

I'm a mum to three young boys and love to be there for my family over the weekends so I work mostly on weekdays. I however offer only 2 Saturday slots every month for client sessions. So if you absolutely want a Saturday session, book quick. And you're worth it if you have to take one day off work for yourself. You already do for your kids or Dr's appointments when needed.
How much can I expect to spend?

Your headshot experience including professional makeup, hair styling and wardrobe consult is $400 per image. However, the more you buy the cheaper it gets. My clients love to buy images in collections because that is where they save the most. Some clients spend $2,000 and others spend $4,000 or more. Here's what I tell my clients "Only buy what you love".
What should I wear for my headshot session?

This is a very common question we get! Firstly, don't stress about wardrobe. We understand that selecting the perfect outfit for your headshots can be challenging. That's why we offer a pre-session wardrobe styling consult where we discuss clothing options and provide recommendations based on your personal style, your brand and the type of business images you are looking to capture.
Can I get professional makeup done?

Professional makeup is a complimentary service we offer and always included in the sessions. You deserve to be pampered and our team of makeup artists are itching to glam you up like they've done for many others!
Can I do my own makeup before coming?

If you are very proficient with makeup application, then yes, you are welcome to come to your portrait session wearing your preferred makeup. However, we highly recommend that you consider having your makeup professionally done by our expert makeup artist. We offer makeup services that are specifically designed to complement the natural beauty of our clients and to help them look and feel their best during their portrait session. This is a complimentary service at no extra charge. Our makeup artist will work with you to create a look that enhances your features and complements your outfit and personal style. They use high-quality products and techniques to ensure that your makeup stays fresh and radiant throughout your session. Additionally, our makeup services can help reduce shine, hide blemishes, and minimize any imperfections, resulting in more flattering and polished photos.
Can I change into multiple outfits during the session?

Absolutely! We encourage you to bring different outfits to the session. Changing outfits allows for a variety of looks, which is very useful for different styles and different purposes in your business . You already have some time off work, hair and makeup professionally done so why not make the most of it! You can have up to 6 different outfits/looks.
How long will the session take?

It starts with your makeover, multiple outfit changes with various backgrounds and lastly, viewing the gorgeous images we just created. You can expect to spend 2-3 hours in the studio on the day of your shoot. Makeup & hair styling - 1hr to 1hr15mins Photo session - 1-1.5hrs hrs (depending on how many looks you choose and if you are including someone or family in your session) Viewing & Ordering session - 30 mins
Where will the session take place?

All of the sessions take place at our studio in the Riverside area of St Albert, Edmonton. The studio is equipped with a dressing room and a wash room for your convenience.
What if I'm not satisfied with the makeup done for me?

We only work with skilled and experienced makeup artists to ensure that our clients look and feel their best in front of the camera. During your styling/design session, we discuss your preferred makeup looks. Also on the shoot day, our makeup artist will confirm your preferences before and during application. If you love the pictures on you've seen on the website, then you'd absolutely love yours too. However, we understand that makeup is a personal preference. In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your makeup application, our makeup artist will work with you to make any necessary adjustments and ensure that you are happy with the final result. Our goal is for you to feel confident and beautiful during your photoshoot and will do everything we can to make that happen.
How will my images be delivered?

Your professional headshots and personal branding images will be delivered as digital images in different crops via a download link
